Role Overview

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to support our client's taxes and accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing, tax computation, GST reporting, and monthly closing reports. Candidates should have prior experience in setting up Maritime Sector Incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:
  • • Handle and maintain full set of accounts using ERP system
  • • Prepare Monthly closing report
  • • Preparation of audit schedules
  • • GST reporting
  • • To assist in tax computation & analysis
  • • Assist in setting up the processes for AIS or GTP implementation
  • • Ensure transaction posted are for the correct revenue / cost centre

Requirements

  • Job Requirements:
  • • 3 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
  • • Must have either Maritime Sector Incentive – Approved International Shipping (MSI-AIS) or Global Trader Programme (GTP) experience in setup, implementation & audit
  • • Prior experience with Business Central is an advantage
  • • Full set accounting experience preferably from Shipping industry
  • • Independent worker, able to work in fast paced environment
