Be Part of Our Success
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Consultant to lead technical discovery, architecture, and delivery across greenfield development and legacy modernisation projects. You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions, champion quality engineering practices, and enable client teams to build strong end-to-end engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and architecture design for greenfield and legacy modernisation projects, including microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and strangler patterns.
- Champion quality engineering through comprehensive test strategies, code reviews, pair programming, TDD, refactoring, and effective technical debt management.
- Develop production-quality applications with strong test coverage and deploy solutions using modern cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Define API contracts and integration patterns, and conduct technical spikes and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate and de-risk architecture decisions.
- Identify and communicate technical risks, architectural trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish monitoring and observability practices to ensure reliable and maintainable production systems.
- Facilitate technical retrospectives and continuously improve engineering practices, development processes, and delivery quality.
- Enable and mentor client engineers through pairing, coaching, workshops, and constructive feedback, building sustainable engineering capability rather than dependency.
- Facilitate technical workshops including architecture reviews, mob programming, and discovery sessions across distributed and co-located teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience covering the full development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Strong experience working across both greenfield development and legacy modernisation projects.
- Proven experience enabling and coaching engineers through pairing, technical workshops, mentoring, or knowledge sharing.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD, modern software engineering practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Good knowledge of application security and security best practices, including OWASP principles.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern integration patterns.
- Comfortable using AI-augmented development and engineering tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Consultancy or client-facing experience is highly desirable.
Qualities We Value
- Quality-first mindset – You care about building maintainable, well-tested, production-ready solutions.
- Pragmatic problem solver – You can work through ambiguity, make informed trade-offs, and manage technical debt without compromising engineering standards.
- Collaborative coach – You enjoy enabling others through pairing, mentoring, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Strong communicator – You can clearly articulate technical risks, decisions, and trade-offs to both technical and business audiences.
- Ownership-driven – You take responsibility across the full engineering lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through deployment and production support.
- Growth mindset – You are energised not only by building technology but also by improving engineering practices and developing the capabilities of those around you.
