About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Senior System Analyst to support the development, implementation and maintenance of SAMS v2 for a major financial-sector organisation in Singapore.

The role will involve supporting the implementation of the new SAMS v2 platform, integration with various internal and external systems, technical testing, DevSecOps setup, data migration and system cutover. The successful candidate will also support the subsequent decommissioning of SAMS v1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and domain knowledge of SAMS and related financial-market processes during the implementation of SAMS v2.
  • Support the technical setup and configuration of SAMS v2 environments.
  • Coordinate technical requests including network connectivity and firewall access with relevant infrastructure teams and vendors.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders on technical clarifications, project updates and implementation matters.
  • Analyse and document system, payment and data flows between SAMS and interfacing systems.
  • Support the setup and testing of connectivity with required system interfaces.
  • Assist with the implementation and testing of DevSecOps pipelines and workflows.
  • Develop technical test cases and perform system, integration and connectivity testing.
  • Support compliance and technical reporting requirements.
  • Assist with data migration, reconciliation and system cutover activities.
  • Provide production and implementation support as required.
  • Support the transition from SAMS v1 to SAMS v2, including the eventual decommissioning of SAMS v1.
  • Work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application development, system integration, technical implementation or application support.
  • Experience working on financial services, banking, payment or securities-related systems.
  • Experience with system integration, APIs, middleware, payment interfaces or messaging systems.
  • Good understanding of application environments, system connectivity and network/firewall requirements.
  • Experience in SIT/UAT, technical testing and test case preparation.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
  • Experience in data migration, system implementation and production cutover.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with vendors and cross-functional technology teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience with SAMS v1 / SAMS or Singapore Government Securities-related systems.
  • Experience with MAS, banking or financial-market technology environments.
  • Experience with securities settlement, payment systems or financial-market infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting legacy system migration and decommissioning.
  • Knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, security or enterprise integration technologies will be an advantage.
