Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Specialist role based in Singapore. The Technical Sales Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities, engage with research institutions and laboratories, and present technical solutions that meet customer requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotations and proposals, managing the sales cycle, and maintaining accurate sales records. The role also involves providing basic technical support, coordinating with service teams to resolve equipment issues, and ensuring smooth pre-sales, post-sales, and after-sales experiences. The Technical Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with manufacturers and internal stakeholders to stay current on product developments and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills for identifying opportunities, managing pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Candidates should possess solid Technical Support abilities to explain product functionality, resolve basic issues, and liaise with service teams.
  • Relevant experience in scientific or laboratory equipment sales, or a related technical field, is highly beneficial.
  • A diploma or degree in science, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently, travel within Singapore for customer visits, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
