Job Summary
Join EOS Defence Systems Singapore as a Technical Support Engineer (MRO) to maintain, repair, and support Remote Weapon Systems at the depot and field, ensuring operational excellence and quality standards for international defence clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, repair, upgrade, and dispose of EOS Defence Systems products according to project and contract specifications
- Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and support during depot and field operations to ensure system reliability
- Assist with system integration, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites to optimize performance
- Respond to and resolve customer technical queries and maintenance-related issues promptly
- Conduct system demonstrations for internal teams and external clients to showcase operational capabilities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage for traceability
- Perform Failure Review Analysis and generate reports to identify root causes and collaborate with Quality team on Spare Non-Conformance Actions (SNCA) for issue resolution
- Conduct incoming inspections of spare parts with Internal and Customer Quality Assurance teams to verify compliance
- Deliver training programs to end-users locally and regionally to enhance operational knowledge and skills
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the President and Head/Deputy Head of RWS Depot Centre
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), defence systems, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial equipment environments; fresh graduates are also welcome
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and engineering documentation
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally for customer support and field service activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working within regulated quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, defence, aerospace, or equivalent environments
