Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and skilled Ice Machine Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial ice machines, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial ice machines to ensure proper operation
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing to reduce equipment downtime
  • Diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and water systems to identify root causes
  • Attend service calls at customer locations and resolve equipment issues efficiently
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of ice machines to verify functionality and compliance
  • Prepare detailed service reports and provide feedback on equipment conditions for continuous improvement
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to maintain strong service relationships
  • Travel to various customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs as required
  • Execute other technical duties assigned by the supervisor to support team operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Experience servicing ice machines, refrigeration, HVAC, kitchen equipment, or similar machinery
  • Knowledge of commercial ice machines and their operation to perform effective maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems to resolve faults
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle to customer sites safely and reliably

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence (preferred, not mandatory)
