Test Drive Specialist

Position Summary

The Test Drive Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless and professional test drive experience by preparing test drive vehicles, coordinating appointments, conducting vehicle orientation, and supporting customers throughout the test drive process. The role works closely with the Sales Executive, who remains the primary contact for sales discussions and vehicle purchase enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Test Drive Operations

  • Prepare and maintain all test drive vehicles in showroom-ready condition.
  • Ensure vehicles are fully charged, clean, and roadworthy before each appointment.
  • Conduct pre-drive and post-drive vehicle inspections.
  • Schedule and coordinate test drive appointments with the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate test drive records and vehicle utilisation logs.

Customer Support

  • Verify customers' driving licences and ensure completion of required documentation.
  • Provide a safety briefing and explain vehicle controls before the test drive.
  • Accompany customers during test drives.
  • Demonstrate vehicle functions, EV charging features, driving modes, and safety systems.
  • Answer operational and technical questions relating to vehicle usage.

Fleet Management

  • Monitor battery charging status and charging schedules.
  • Coordinate servicing, repair, and maintenance of test drive vehicles.
  • Report vehicle damages, faults, or incidents promptly.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with company and regulatory requirements.

Showroom Support

  • Support showroom events, exhibitions, roadshows, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in vehicle display arrangement and showroom vehicle movement.
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to ensure smooth customer handover before and after test drives.

Requirements

  • Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
  • Good driving record with at least 2 years of driving experience preferred.
  • Passionate about electric vehicles and automotive technology.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic computer literacy and record-keeping skills.

  • Test drive vehicle readiness rate.
  • Number of completed test drives.
  • Vehicle fleet condition and maintenance compliance.
  • Customer satisfaction relating to test drive experience.
