The posting

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to support our manufacturing systems validation team. Operating within a high-tech factory cleanroom environment, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless, high-integrity automated data communication links between physical production equipment and our back-end systems during operational test phases.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute communication testing sequences across manufacturing lines to verify data pipelines through Equipment ⇔ PLC ⇔ Oracle DB infrastructure.
  • Monitor real-time data transmissions alongside manufacturing teams to confirm compliance with communication specifications.
  • Use manufacturer-specific validation tools to identify, isolate, and log system anomalies or data drops.
  • Access and query Oracle database tables to verify data logging integrity.
  • Document test sequences and system issues using Microsoft Excel.
  • Comply with semiconductor cleanroom safety and gowning regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of running basic queries in Oracle databases.
  • Ability to learn and operate proprietary manufacturer-specific testing tools from instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment wearing full protective suits and standing for extended durations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ladder logic.
  • Prior experience working inside a semiconductor manufacturing plant or cleanroom facility.
