The posting

Our client is a global technology company specialising in server and data centre solutions. They build and support server systems used by some of the world's largest technology and cloud companies.

📍 Location: Tampines 💰 Basic Salary: $3,500–$4,500 📅 4-Day Work Week after Training

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the end-to-end testing and validation of server and rack systems in a production environment
  • Troubleshoot hardware and test failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate follow-up actions
  • Prepare and maintain Golden Images (GI) and ensure test databases are kept accurate and updated
  • Configure rack test templates based on BOM and Engineering Instructions
  • Support the setup and deployment of new hardware configurations, including switches and power shelves
  • Work with engineering and software teams to resolve test system and configuration issues
  • Review Test Process Instructions (TPI) and support production testers with technical queries
  • Raise technical tickets and escalate more complex issues for further investigation
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production testers and junior technicians
  • Maintain technical documentation and support production readiness for shipment

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Around 2–4 years of relevant experience in server testing, hardware testing, manufacturing or production engineering
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with computer or server hardware
  • Working knowledge of Linux / DOS
  • Basic knowledge of network hardware and electrical concepts
  • Able to read and understand Python or other programming scripts
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation, test procedures and hardware configurations
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts after training

Working Hours

  • First 3 months: Monday to Friday
  • After training: 4-day work week on rotating day and night shifts
