Job Summary

Responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Present menus, explain food items, and recommend dishes to customers.
  3. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
  4. Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure orders are correct.
  5. Set up tables, arrange cutlery, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  6. Clear tables and prepare them for the next customers.
  7. Handle customer enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
  8. Assist with billing and payment collection when required.
  9. Maintain proper hygiene, food safety, and service standards.
  10. Replenish condiments, drinking water, and other dining essentials.
  11. Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  12. Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Friendly, polite, and positive attitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is an advantage.

Working Environment

Work in a restaurant setting, including indoor dining areas, with duties involving standing for extended periods and carrying food and beverages.
