1. Job Summary

TSS Pte Ltd is seeking an active and dedicated Warehouse General Worker to join our logistics team at Soon Lee Road. This multifaceted role is critical to maintaining smooth warehouse operations, encompassing everything from receiving daily inbound cargo to loading outbound containers, tracking physical stock, and keeping our facility clean and organized.

2. Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inbound Receiving: Unload daily inbound purchase orders, verify quantities against delivery orders, and inspect incoming goods for quality or damage.
  • Outbound Loading & Stuffing: Pack, secure, and load finished goods onto outbound vehicles. Efficiently stuff and balance cargo inside shipping containers to maximize space and prevent transit damage.
  • Stock Replenishment: Transfer bulk items from the main storage zones to the designated pick-and-pack areas using material handling equipment to ensure picking operations run smoothly without stockouts.
  • WMS Data Entry: Utilize digital Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF handheld scanners to log stock locations, update inventory movements, and maintain system accuracy.
  • Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Perform routine washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of the warehouse floor, racking areas, and loading bays to meet food-grade safety standards.

3. KPI Performance Metrics (Salary Impact)

Your monthly payout within the specified range depends on meeting the following operational targets:

  • Inbound & Outbound Accuracy (30%): Ensuring zero discrepancies during cargo receiving and verifying containers are stuffed securely without missing items.
  • Replenishment Efficiency (30%): Keeping the pick-and-pack zones properly stocked so picking operations face no downtime or delays.
  • Attendance & Punctuality (20%): Strict compliance with shift hours (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 8am–1pm) and low rates of unplanned absenteeism.
  • Warehouse Hygiene & Care (20%): Maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards through timely washing and careful handling of stock to minimize shrinkage.

4. Candidate Requirements

  • Certification: Must possess a valid Singapore Forklift Driver's License.
  • Language Ability:
  • --- Must be able to read and understand basic English to check inventory labels, system pick lists, and safety signs.
  • ----Must have basic reading and understanding of Mandarin to read and identify product names and wording on basic Mandarin labels attached to specific inventory items.
  • Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts, container stuffing, or working in a physical logistics environment is required.
  • Technical Literacy: Basic comfort using digital tools, mobile applications, or handheld scanners to interact with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Teamwork & Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and willing to follow instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor closely.

5. Physical Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: High level of physical fitness required to safely stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the designated shift hours.
  • Heavy Lifting: Ability to comfortably and repeatedly lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy items (up to 20kg–25kg) during inbound unloading and container stuffing.
  • Environment: Comfort working in a high-activity warehouse environment, loading bays, and enclosed shipping containers
