Job Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the company's Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and EHS management systems.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify and control hazards.
- Develop and enforce Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), Risk Assessments and safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and statutory requirements under MOM, NEA and other relevant authorities.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, training and safety promotional activities.
- Monitor site safety performance and promote a strong safety culture.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, near misses and safety non-compliances, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Work closely with project teams, workers and contractors to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Support the WSH Committee and participate in safety meetings and emergency preparedness activities.
- Maintain safety records, reports and relevant EHS documentation.
- Assist in preparing safety budgets and implementing measures to minimise accidents and re-work.
- Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Workplace Safety & Health, Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
- Relevant Singapore WSH/Safety Officer certification.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and MOM requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant site/project experience will be an advantage.
