Responsibilities
- Analyse Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) performance, processes and workplace practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive, coordinate and implement day-to-day EHS initiatives across the workplace.
- Maintain and continuously improve EHS standards, policies and practices.
- Prepare and maintain regular EHS reports, records and documentation.
- Promote EHS awareness and conduct regular training, briefings and engagement activities for relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct EHS audits and, where required, lead or support incident investigations and follow-up actions.
- Ensure workplace operations comply with applicable EHS legislation, regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Maintain and update EHS Management System documentation, policies and procedures.
- Perform statutory duties and responsibilities as a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
Requirements
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.
- Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore.
- Prior experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is required.
- Good knowledge and practical experience in EHS Management Systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and BizSAFE requirements.
- Willing to perform night works and occasional work on public holidays when required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive team player with a strong interest in developing a career in EHS/WSH.
