WTT ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The WTT Engagement Specialist will support initiatives that connect fans with WTT, its players, and events. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role will help deliver engaging campaigns, content, and experiences that grow audience participation and strengthen fan relationships across digital platforms and live events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Deliver the department's engagement plan in key markets to agreed priorities and timelines.
  • Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with local organising committees, host cities, Member Associations, players, commercial partners, broadcasters and other local organisations.
  • Place the department's content, campaigns and stories with the partners best positioned to amplify them, adapting materials to each market.
  • Support the localisation of WTT communications, including language adaptation and coordination with local partners and agencies.
  • Grow local fan and community engagement to deepen WTT's impact in market.

EVENT PROMOTION SUPPORT

  • Attend WTT events in market to support engagement activity on the ground.
  • Work with these stakeholders to meet their PR and marketing requirements around each event.
  • Coordinate resource allocation, process management and support from WTT's owned platforms and media.

REPORTING

  • Maintain accurate records of stakeholder contacts, activity and outcomes.
  • Report on engagement results after each event.

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIALS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in stakeholder relations, partnership support, community engagement, event marketing, or a comparable outward-facing role.
  • Experience managing relationships with external organisations or partners, including day-to-day communication and follow-through.
  • Experience working to an event or campaign calendar.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with confidence in initiating contact with external organisations.
  • Cultural awareness and sound judgement in adapting communication and approach to different markets and partners.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to work across time zones and a global event calendar, with willingness to travel internationally.

DESIRABLES:

  • Experience in sport or live events.
