As part of the Operations team you own the technical architecture of the data infrastructure, automation and digital systems, from database architecture and data warehouse to PLM, ERP and MES, serving both R&D and a growing production flow. Your tasks: You own the architecture and roadmap for the data platform, enterprise systems and supporting infrastructure as the company scales from pilot to volume production. You own IT and data security and governance: access control, encryption in transit and at rest, backups and disaster recovery, aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 and with export-control requirements. You own the PLM (Aras Innovator) and ERP (Oracle NetSuite) implementation and their integration, driving end-to-end product and document lifecycle traceability. You run the market scouting, tender and vendor selection for an MES platform and lead its implementation and integration with PLM, ERP and the data platform. You own the automated wafer-scale test software built on OpenTAP and define the data-exchange protocols between tools and systems. You keep core infrastructure reliable and secure (Linux servers, virtualisation, containerised services, object storage, backups) and manage projects, contracts and SLAs with external IT vendors. You act as technical reference for the engineering community and manage and mentor a small team of automation, data and DevOps specialists. Your profile: Degree in computer science, engineering, physics or a related field with a strong track record in enterprise or solutions architecture, ideally in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment Hands-on experience with PLM (Aras Innovator or similar) and ERP systems, including implementation and integration Experience leading automated or robotic production or testing lines, preferably in the semiconductor industry Strong database and data-engineering background, hands-on with modern lakehouse and data platforms such as Databricks, Apache Iceberg and Trino, across cloud and on-prem infrastructure Solid grasp of data security, encryption, backups and access control Vendor and contract management experience including SLA negotiation Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001 and export-control regimes is a strong asset People-leadership experience with a track record of hiring, managing and mentoring technical staff Fluent English required, German or French a bonus Your benefits: Competitive compensation and benefits package including an employee stock option plan Fully covered second pillar and generous vacation A unique opportunity to lead a cutting-edge manufacturing initiative in the fast-growing field of photonics A collaborative and innovative environment in an early-phase company with fast professional development

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
