Join our dynamic care team as a Telehealth Physician! This position provides an excellent opportunity for a doctor to step out of a traditional role and provide compassionate care to frail, elderly, and complex patients in their homes with the assistance of cross-trained paramedics.

You will utilize advanced in-home diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities to diagnose and treat acute symptoms. You will tailor treatment plans, identify readmission risk factors, and engage patients and their families in education and problem-solving, leading to lower hospitalization rates. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless patient care. You should demonstrate proficiency in online technology, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient health. Requirements & Preferences

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice.
  • Current state license in Pennsylvania, or Louisiana
  • Well-versed in various Electronic Medical Records
  • (Preferred) Prior experience working within a value-based care environment, partnering with population health/care management teams, treating patients via telehealth
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiar with and able to demonstrate multicultural competency and facility with identifying socioeconomic and educational issues facing the populations we treat
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Special Considerations

  • On behalf of the physicians, myLaurel will coordinate applications for multi state licensing. At times, the physician will need to be able to respond in a timely manner to help complete the process, which may include providing proof/copies of certifications, licenses, fingerprinting, notarized documents, etc
  • Must be able to provide an appropriate telehealth environment during patient care: clean, quiet, internet access with appropriate connectivity, HIPAA compliant privacy, appropriate dress, appropriate lighting.
  • Must complete all required mandatory company learning modules in a timely manner
