Data is het kloppend hart van MyParcel. Elke dag versturen duizenden webshops en ondernemers pakketten via ons platform, en achter de schermen zorgen wij dat alle gegevens feilloos worden verwerkt. Of het nu gaat om verzendstromen, klantinzichten of financiële data – alles moet kloppen én klaar zijn voor de volgende stap.

Daar kom jij in beeld. Als Data Engineer ben jij degene die ervoor zorgt dat onze data betrouwbaar, veilig en schaalbaar beschikbaar is. Jij bouwt het fundament waarop onze analisten, developers en het management kunnen vertrouwen om de juiste beslissingen te nemen.

Je komt terecht in een hecht en enthousiast team, waar we samen werken aan slimme oplossingen, veel lachen en elke dag een beetje beter willen worden. Jouw werk heeft direct impact: van het optimaliseren van onze data pipelines tot het creëren van nieuwe inzichten die ons helpen groeien.

De functie

Als Data Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het bouwen en onderhouden van onze data-infrastructuur. Je vertaalt business behoeften naar betrouwbare en schaalbare data pipelines, bewaakt de kwaliteit en veiligheid van data. Je werkt nauw samen met data-analisten en developers, en bent dé schakel die ruwe data omzet in een stevig fundament. Jouw werk heeft direct impact: zonder jou geen goed gevulde dashboards en geen datagedreven groei.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Ontwerpen en onderhouden van datasystemen, datawarehouses en databases
  • Ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van ETL/ELT processen
  • Modelleren van data­structuren voor performance en schaalbaarheid
  • Waarborgen van datakwaliteit, integriteit en toegang
  • Kostenoptimalisatie van data processen
  • Documenteren van architectuur en dataprocessen
  • Adviseren over systeemwijzigingen in samenwerking met developers, analisten en management

Wat vragen we van jou?

  • HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau (richting Data, Informatica, Econometrie, Wiskunde etc.)
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in data engineering, datamodellering en performance optimalisatie
  • Kennis van SQL, Python
  • Ervaring met moderne data architecturen en BI tooling (Snowflake, dbt, Looker)
  • Bekend met principes van Data Governance en kwaliteitsframeworks
  • Analytisch sterk, communicatief vaardig en een teamspeler
  • Proactieve houding: je signaleert kansen en neemt initiatief
  • De Nederlands taal machtig (minimaal C1/C2 niveau)

Pré’s

  • Ervaring met Fivetran, Salesforce;
  • Ervaring in e-commerce/logistiek
