Fan Relations Specialist – Dairy Queen

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour | Full-Time

We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Fan Relations Specialist who takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.

At Dairy Queen, we don't just serve food and treats. We create experiences that bring customers back.

This is more than a cashier position. You'll be the face of our restaurant, building relationships with guests, creating memorable experiences, and helping us deliver exceptional customer service every day.

What You'll Do

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge every customer entering the restaurant.
  • Create a welcoming, friendly, and positive dining experience.
  • Build relationships with regular customers and make them feel appreciated.
  • Check on dine-in guests to ensure they're satisfied with their experience.
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally.
  • Encourage satisfied customers to share their experiences through Fan Feedback surveys and online reviews.

Service & Operations

  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Verify orders before handing them to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room, front counter, and restroom area.
  • Assist with order preparation, packaging, and service when needed.
  • Communicate with Grill, Chill, and Drive-Thru teams to ensure fast and accurate service.
  • Identify service delays and proactively help resolve customer concerns.
  • Follow food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant operating standards.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-food, restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for helping people and providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and learning digital tools.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to support teammates wherever needed.
