Work as part of the engineering team reporting to the Shift Engineering Lead Take a hands-on approach to maintenance within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment Support production by keeping machinery running efficiently and safely Work collaboratively with Production, Technical, and Hygiene teams Operate across different areas of the site with flexibility Contribute to continuous improvement and site performance
You can do this if you…
Have a recognised electrical mechanical qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, BTEC L3, City & Guilds, or relevant apprenticeship) or experience in a similar working environment Can carry out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Can diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults effectively Can read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Work with pneumatic systems and carry out basic fabrication/welding Analyse problems and implement practical, timely solutions Plan and prioritise tasks while working under pressure

Minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety standards Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste Accurately record maintenance activities to support audits and improvements Maintain high production and quality standards across the site Work collaboratively to resolve issues quickly and effectively
