The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) based in the United States .

The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will lead the technical sales process for complex enterprise opportunities, helping customers evaluate and adopt solutions that strengthen identity verification, cybersecurity, and account protection. Working closely with Account Executives, you will guide technical discovery, shape solution strategies, and lead enterprise demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs). This role goes beyond product presentations, requiring ownership of technical validation, measurable customer outcomes, and successful deal execution. You will engage directly with security, identity, and IT leaders to build trust and demonstrate how solutions address real-world enterprise requirements. You will also collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth implementations and long-term customer value. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise sales strategy, contribute to product development, and help shape technical excellence within a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive technical validation for enterprise new-business and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead in-depth technical discovery to understand customer identity architectures, security environments, authentication workflows, business needs, and success criteria.
  • Design and deliver enterprise-grade product demonstrations and proofs of concept aligned with documented customer requirements, use cases, risks, and purchasing criteria.
  • Communicate the value of identity verification and account protection solutions in the context of identity and access management (IAM), authentication flows, and enterprise security.
  • Act as the primary technical adviser throughout the sales cycle, building credibility and strong relationships with security, IAM, IT, and architecture stakeholders.
  • Define measurable technical success criteria and acceptance standards for each opportunity, ensuring evaluations are appropriately scoped and outcome-focused.
  • Coordinate clear handovers to Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Technical Customer Engineering teams, sharing all relevant technical context and customer expectations.
  • Maintain technical oversight during implementation to ensure delivery aligns with the solution sold, agreed requirements, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Share recurring customer objections, competitive insights, and product gaps with Product and Leadership teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Support renewals and expansions by advising on architecture changes, emerging use cases, integration opportunities, and evolving security requirements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting within B2B SaaS environments.
  • Strong technical background in identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, or enterprise infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with SAML-based single sign-on (SSO), identity federation, and enterprise authentication workflows.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise proofs of concept, technical demonstrations, and complex customer evaluations.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior technical stakeholders across Security, IAM, IT, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise identity and authentication technologies, including SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, SSO, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Familiarity with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Auth0, Ping, and Duo.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, modern SaaS architectures, cloud environments, enterprise security tools, and IT workflow platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Ability to take ownership of technical outcomes, challenge poorly scoped evaluations constructively, and maintain a strong focus on customer success.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a commitment to effective cross-functional communication, reliable handovers, and successful implementation.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting post-sales implementations or working closely with Customer Success teams.
  • Work authorization requirement: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • On-target earnings (OTE): $225,000, with a 77/23 compensation split between base salary and variable compensation.
  • Meaningful equity ownership.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Remote-first work environment, with flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
  • Flexible scheduling within your time zone, with key meetings coordinated across a shared collaboration window.
  • Quarterly in-person team off-sites to support collaboration, connection, and innovation.
  • Travel support for company gatherings and team activities.
  • New computer hardware and work equipment.
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture that values autonomy, open communication, and individual contributions.
  • Opportunities to work on high-impact enterprise deals and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership.
  • The opportunity to influence technical sales practices, improve customer onboarding, and contribute to the evolution of enterprise security solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
