The Napleton Fleet Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Administrative Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a general accounting background, strong data entry skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative and accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Located at Napleton Fleet Group’s Oak Brook Terrace office, the Accounting and Administrative Specialist is responsible for Accounting and Financial processing as well as Vehicle and Administrative processing.

The Napleton Fleet Group has been in business since 1992, with a successful history of high-volume fleet sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process daily bank deposits.
  • Handle deposit processing and reconciliation.
  • Process vehicle payoffs and related financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments.
  • Process and track vehicle upfitting invoices and related payables.
  • Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Enter and maintain accurate vehicle and financial information in company systems.
  • Perform vehicle schedule cleanup and reconciliation.
  • Review vehicle schedules to ensure information is complete and accurate
  • Research and resolve discrepancies involving vehicle orders, invoices, payments, and account records.
  • Assist with general administrative and accounting duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Automotive Dealership or Fleet Management experience.
  • General accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience processing bank deposits and handling financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and invoice processing.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
