The posting

To safely operate heavy vehicles and transport employees, equipment, materials, and tools to project sites while ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, flatbeds, boom trucks, and other assigned transportation vehicles.
  • Transport electrical materials, equipment, tools, and personnel safely to project locations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition.
  • Perform routine checks on fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Ensure proper securing and safe transportation of materials and equipment.
  • Follow assigned schedules and delivery routes to support project operations.
  • Comply with Bahrain traffic laws and company driving policies.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
  • Coordinate with Site Supervisors and Logistics personnel regarding transportation requirements.
  • Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Bahraini Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably in construction, electrical, or industrial projects.
  • Good knowledge of Bahrain roads and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify defects.
  • Clean driving record preferred.
