  • Provide toileting assistance when necessary; the adolescent is toilet-trained.

  • Encourage communication, social interaction, personal choice, and independence.
  • Willingness to learn some sign language.
  • Provide attentive companionship and emotional support.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment.
  • Complete light household tasks directly related to the adolescent’s care.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and provide a clear end-of-shift summary each evening.

  • Professional or personal experience providing direct care to children or individuals with disabilities

Previous experience supporting children or adolescents with physical, developmental, intellectual, or communication-related disabilities is strongly preferred. Familiarity with sign language, augmentative and alternative communication, or speech-generating devices is helpful but not required. • Be receptive to feedback and committed to family-centered care.
  • Be comfortable using an iPad and speech-generating technology.
  • Be able to safely lift, transfer, or assist with transfer.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
