Job Description

The Department of Accounting at NUS Business School seeks a full-time Research Assistant to work with Prof. Daniel Rabetti on empirical research in accounting. The appointment is from 1 Feb 2027 to 1 July 2028.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean and verify data Build and maintain research datasets and conduct statistical analyses Conduct literature reviews and institutional background research Present results and document work clearly for faculty

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related quantitative field Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Good written and spoken English

Preferred

Proficiency in Python, Stata, SAS or R Experience with financial databases such as CRSP and Compustat Interest in pursuing a PhD in accounting or finance
