Job Description

To support research operations, maintenance and safety. Tasks will include:

  • Research operations & laboratory equipment / facility maintenance
  • Implementation of safety processes for research projects
  • Purchasing for laboratory & research needs
  • Logistics support for field research (booking of boats / transport, etc)
  • Coordination for obtaining permits for field research
  • Field support for experiments, when required

Qualifications

  • A good Bachelors degree or Diploma (Engineering / Science preferred, but other domains acceptable)
  • Proactiveness & ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to understand research project needs and work closely with research team
  • Good communication skills
  • Goal-oriented attitude
  • Team player
  • Laboratory operations / management experience preferred
