Job Description
The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow for The Sleep and Cognition Laboratory, Centre for Sleep and Cognition in the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Sleep and Cognition Laboratory at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to understanding the role of sleep in cognitive performance, brain function, and health, and developing strategies to optimise sleep for improved health, wellbeing and productivity. Our research integrates neuroscience, population health, engineering, and data science, combining controlled laboratory experiments with large-scale longitudinal studies in real-world settings. Key research areas include sleep measurement using wearable technologies, sleep and cognitive health across the lifespan, and the interplay between sleep and lifestyle behaviours. The laboratory is equipped with dedicated sleep research facilities and advanced physiological monitoring technologies, including electroencephalography (EEG), polysomnography, and wearable devices. Our overarching goal is to advance the understanding of sleep and develop strategies to improve sleep and health in everyday life. More information is available at https://sleepcognition-lab.org.
