Overview:

Experience 3 years of fund-raising and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising experience. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary:

May coordinate events, fundraising campaigns, volunteer groups and programs, manage relationships, and oversee fundraising databases and reporting. Will require occasional evenings and weekends.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with donors and sponsors.
  • Prepares reports on foundation activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with team members to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Ensures compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, required.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable with people of all ages and backgrounds. Must be equally comfortable with public speaking and one-on-one communication.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, devotion to hospital mission and on-going personal education and development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to be a team player and display diplomacy/political savvy.
  • Ability to be entrusted with personal and confidential information and make ethical decisions.

Experience:

One year of fund-raising, sales or relevant experience, preferred.
