2 weekday shifts + 1 weekend shift per week (24 hours)
Job Description Summary:
Provides safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner. Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, proper utilization of body mechanics, and adheres to policies and procedures.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Transports patients to and from designated areas using proper equipment.
- Assists patients in and out of vehicles and ensures their safety during transport.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the transport vehicles.
- Monitors and reports any changes in patient condition during transport.
- Follows established safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:
Active BLS Certification via AHA or successfully obtain within 90 days of hire, required.
Skills:
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer serviceskills
- Ability to solve problems and operate under potentially stressful or emergency situations.
- Excellent judgment inassessing potentially unsafe conditions for both patients and self.
