We're looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our busy Payroll team on a part time (30 hours per week), temporary contract (c 9 months) to help us manage our workloads as we are transitioning to our new payroll system. You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, end-to-end payroll service, ensuring employees receive the right pay at the right time while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and pension regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys solving problems and delivering outstanding customer service in an employee focussed environment. What you'll be doing: Processing monthly payroll for approximately 1,400 employeesProcessing starters, leavers, contractual changes, overtime and payroll adjustmentsAdministering pensions, including auto-enrolment and pension scheme complianceCalculating statutory payments, deductions, and salary adjustments in line with sickness/ maternity etc policies. Responding to payroll queries from employees and managersProducing payroll reports and supporting Finance with reconciliations*Any other duties required to support the busy Payroll / HR administration team What we're looking for At least 2 years' experience in end-to-end payroll administrationStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and pensionsExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyExperience using payroll systems such as Access SelectPay, Dayforce or similarStrong Excel and data management skillsA professional, customer-focused approach with the ability to meet deadlines Why join us?
