Wat ga je doen?

Als Beleidsmedewerker Landbouw op onze beleidscel ben je de spil in enkele van de meest cruciale en actuele dossiers voor het Vlaamse platteland: de toekomst van ons Europees landbouwbeleid, het mestbeleid en de bescherming van onze kwetsbare biodiversiteit (zoals weidevogels).

  • Dossiervreter met impact: Je bijt je vast in complexe landbouwdossiers. Je analyseert niet alleen rapporten en decreten, maar brengt ook de strategische kansen en risico’s voor de natuur scherp in kaart.
  • Strategisch netwerker: Je bouwt en onderhoudt een stevig netwerk. Je bent een gerespecteerd gesprekspartner voor beleidsmakers, kabinetten en administraties, maar je stapt net zo vlot op landbouworganisaties en individuele boeren af. Je spreekt hun taal en zoekt constructief naar partnerschappen en oplossingen.
  • Visie-architect: Je zorgt - samen met collega’s, vrijwilligers en bestuurders - voor gedragen en duidelijke standpunten rond landbouw en natuur.
  • Bondgenoot van de achterban: Je ondersteunt onze vrijwilligers en lokale afdelingen bij vragen over landbouwdossiers en geeft hen de input om ook lokaal impact te maken.
  • Inhoudelijke stem: Je communiceert helder over jouw thema’s via interne en externe kanalen (nieuwsbrieven, persberichten en sociale media) en schuwt de dialoog niet.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je wil een verschil maken voor natuur en biodiversiteit in Vlaanderen via constructief en doordacht beleidswerk.
  • Je beschikt over een flinke dosis gezond boerenverstand en hebt een sterke feeling met de landbouwsector. Je begrijpt de leefwereld, de uitdagingen en de logica van de moderne landbouwer.
  • Je kan strategisch denken, hoofd- van bijzaken onderscheiden en een visie op lange termijn opmaken.
  • Je bent een politiek dier met een scherp aanvoelen voor maatschappelijke en politieke verhoudingen. Je voelt je thuis in moeilijke discussies en weet wanneer je pragmatisch naar een compromis moet toewerken.
  • Je bent een communicatieve bruggenbouwer: verbaal sterk en overtuigend. Je kan een complex dossier helder uitleggen aan zowel een minister, een lokale vrijwilliger als een bezorgde landbouwer.
  • Je bent flexibel en stressbestendig. Je kan goed om met een wijzigende planning en last-minute opdrachten onder tijdsdruk.

Pluspunten

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma behaald of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt een bestaand netwerk binnen de landbouwsector of het plattelandsbeleid.
  • Basiskennis van de landbouwwetgeving, mestbeleid en het Europese landbouwbeleid (GLB)
  • Je hebt goede kennis van de Vlaamse flora en fauna en de onderliggende ecologische principes.
