The posting

We’re looking for a hands-on Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tel Aviv. You will design and build AI-powered products and workflow automation that help our teams deliver better customer experiences.

As the team’s technical lead, you will shape architecture, guide engineering decisions, and lead complex initiatives from discovery through production. You’ll remain deeply involved in implementation while mentoring engineers and partnering with Product, Design, and Operations to turn ambiguous business needs into reliable, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the team’s technical direction, lead architecture and design reviews, and guide implementation across frontend, backend, and integrations.
  • Design, build, and deliver impactful product capabilities, from identifying user needs through deployment and ongoing improvement.
  • Build reliable backend services and event-driven workflows, including asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and failure recovery.
  • Develop AI-powered experiences with grounding, evaluation, human review, and clear failure handling.
  • Establish engineering practices for testing, observability, security, privacy, AI safety, cost management, and operational readiness.
  • Own production quality and supportability, using usage data, customer feedback, and production insights to improve reliability, usefulness, and adoption.
  • Mentor engineers, grow their technical ownership, and raise the team’s engineering standards.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Operations, SRE, Security, Data Science, Legal, and engineering teams across Travel and Expense to understand problems, resolve ambiguity, and define clear requirements.
  • Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, coordinating cross-team initiatives and dependencies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong programming skills and computer science fundamentals, with 6+ years of experience building production SaaS products.
  • Strong production experience with Java and Spring Boot, including designing, building, and operating backend services.
  • Proven experience designing and operating event-driven systems, including reliable message delivery, asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and failure recovery.
  • Full-stack development experience with React or Angular, and proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, API design, relational databases, transactions, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership: setting architectural direction, leading complex initiatives, making sound trade-offs, and helping other engineers deliver effectively.
  • Experience delivering LLM-powered capabilities to production, including evaluation, monitoring, and quality improvement.
  • A strong sense of ownership, demonstrated through maintainable production code, meaningful testing, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and domain experts to translate business problems into practical technical solutions.
  • Sound judgment when balancing delivery speed, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Curiosity, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as NestJS.
  • Experience with AWS, containerized services, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
  • Experience building internal tools or automating complex operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation platforms, retrieval systems, and agent tooling.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
