Szukamy specjalisty/specjalistki z doświadczeniem w optymalizacji wydajności baz danych Microsoft SQL Server, który/-a będzie odpowiedzialny/-a za diagnozowanie i eliminowanie wąskich gardeł w systemach naszych klientów. Osoba zatrudniona na tym stanowisku powinna posiadać umiejętność analizy planów wykonania zapytań oraz identyfikowania na ich podstawie konkretnych przyczyn problemów z wydajnością. Praca ma charakter zarówno interwencyjny, jak i analityczny. Znaczna część zgłoszeń dotyczy systemów produkcyjnych, w których liczy się szybka reakcja. Wymagana jest odporność na pracę pod presją czasu i w bezpośrednim kontakcie z klientem - od zebrania informacji o problemie, przez analizę jego przyczyn, aż po przedstawienie i wyjaśnienie proponowanego rozwiązania. W związku z tym, że aplikacje naszych klientów są tworzone w technologii .NET, oczekujemy swobody w poruszaniu się po kodzie C# oraz zrozumienia, w jaki sposób warstwa aplikacji generuje zapytania kierowane do bazy danych.

- Praktyczne doświadczenie w pracy z Microsoft SQL Server w obszarze wydajności, - Biegła umiejętność czytania i interpretacji planów zapytań oraz wyciągania z nich konkretnych wniosków optymalizacyjnych, - Znajomość mechanizmu plan guide - kiedy go stosować, jakie ma ograniczenia i jakie są alternatywy, - Praktyczna znajomość narzędzi do analizy wydajności zapytań, - Bardzo dobra znajomość T-SQL, indeksowania i statystyk, - Umiejętność czytania i rozumienia kodu C#/.NET na poziomie pozwalającym samodzielnie prześledzenie drogi kodu aplikacji do zapytania w bazie, - Praktyczna znajomość Entity Framework lub Entity Framework Core, a w szczególności rozumienia sposobu generowania zapytań, śledzenia zmian i typowych pułapek wydajnościowych. - Umiejętność pracy pod presją czasu i priorytetyzacji zgłoszeń o różnej krytyczności, - Bardzo dobre umiejętności komunikacyjne i gotowość do bezpośredniego kontaktu z klientem.

- Analiza planów wykonania zapytań MSSQL (estimated i actual) oraz identyfikacja przyczyn problemów wydajnościowych, - Optymalizacja zapytań i obiektów bazodanowych, - Wykorzystanie plan guide'ów oraz innych mechanizmów wymuszania planów zapytań, - Monitorowanie i profilowanie obciążenia produkcyjnego (m.in. Extended Events, DMV, Query Store, DBPlus Performance Monitor) oraz wyciąganie z zebranych danych wniosków i rekomendacji, - Analiza kodu C#/.NET pod kątem tego, jakie zapytania trafiają do bazy ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem warstwy Entity Framework / EF Core, - Bezpośredni kontakt z klientem w celu zebrania informacji o problemie, prezentowanie wyników analizy i uzgadnianie zakresu zmian, - Dokumentowanie przeprowadzonych analiz oraz rekomendacji w formie zrozumiałej zarówno dla zespołów technicznych, jak i biznesu, - Wsparcie zespołów deweloperskich w projektowaniu rozwiązań wydajnych z punktu widzenia bazy danych, - Analiza kodu X++ we współpracy z programistami X++ (Microsoft Dynamics AX) pod kątem tego jakie zapytania trafiają do bazy.
