Position: Project Manager (m/w/d) - Process Engineering Production

Location: Bremen, Germany

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

  • Responsible for the efficient and high-quality planning and execution of small- to medium-sized projects of varying complexity (in terms of technological innovation, development scope, and risk) or subprojects, while adhering to cost and schedule constraints
  • Ensuring all measures relevant to project execution are implemented to achieve project success in line with corporate objectives
  • Maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Ensuring contract, risk, and claim management both externally and internally (in collaboration with the respective departments)
  • Providing technical leadership to small, interdisciplinary project teams (without disciplinary authority)
  • Conducting negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers in coordination with the relevant departments
  • Supporting the sales team in new business acquisition
  • Ensuring targeted project communication both internally and externally
  • Monitoring and evaluating progress, as well as preparing reports based on controlling data
  • Managing suppliers during project execution
  • Providing application and interface support, as well as assisting the functional departments
  • Advising and supporting departments on the sustainable
  • implementation and optimization of processes
  • Conducting lean management training (e.g., systematic problem-solving, shop floor management, and 6S) Independently coordinating and executing interdisciplinary projects using lean management methods
  • Developing and implementing solution concepts, as well as creating detailed project plans with target dates and assigned responsibilities
  • Providing regular, structured reports to production management and plant management

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading projects and teams
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written); knowledge of another foreign language (Spanish, French) is desirable
  • Strong ability to grasp interdisciplinary concepts, as well as analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Production
  • Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of production control and intralogistics
  • Several years of professional experience as a systems and process consultant
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good knowledge of Lean Management and its application in the production sector
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience with value stream mapping
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
