Position Overview:

Neuberger Wealth is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to lead initiatives focused on process improvement and operational excellence. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of the Neuberger Wealth business by evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving implementation efforts. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and change management capabilities.

As a senior member of the Wealth Platforms & Experience organization, this role will be responsible for the ownership and execution of several strategic programs and analyses related to our Client and Advisor experiences. This includes activities related to the entirety of the client/account lifecycle, including everything from onboarding, maintenance, reporting, and experience, as well as their impact on Advisor tools and workflows.

Working closely with our Wealth Advisor Teams, as well as stakeholders from across the firm, this leader will advocate for a re-imagined platform that can deliver our future state capabilities for both Client and Advisor experiences.

Our choice candidate will be a detail oriented strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex problems, dealing with ambiguity, organizational design, and who possesses an unrelenting customer obsession and a strong desire to make their mark on the organization. The candidate will bring an experienced lens to analyze our current state and identify what could be integrated or improved further; while owning the implementation plan. We are looking for 12+ years of direct wealth management home office experience in roles across Operations or Business Architecture. This role is pivotal to the ongoing Private Wealth transformation, ensuring best-in-class experiences, digital enablement, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

Journey Definition & Ownership:

  • Own and enhance all aspects of the Client and Advisor journeys across the Private Wealth business, including all touchpoints from account opening through maintenance to reporting
  • Create and maintain journey maps, process flows, SOPs, and playbooks and training materials across the end-to-end client onboarding and maintenance journeys, which then informs our thinking for our next generation wealth platform
  • Set and deliver the vision of our future state model, specifically as it relates to client onboarding and servicing journeys
  • Identify friction points and implement enhancements that reduce handoffs, processing times, and error rates
  • Analyze current operating model, inclusive of roles and responsibilities across all areas supporting the Client and Advisor journeys
  • Evaluate current operating practices and implement best-in-class business processes across all aspects of the client lifecycle to drive efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction
  • Overhaul and fully digitize the client account opening and onboarding experience to deliver a seamless, efficient, and highly engaging process
  • Partner with senior level stakeholders across the firm to recommend, own, and implement changes focused on efficiency and enhanced client experiences
  • Establish and track SLAs and KPIs
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure prioritization and continuous improvement efforts of platform features and business processes are accounting for Advisor and Client preferences

Technology Enablement:

  • Drive all aspects of technology enablement across key journeys
  • Define key elements of future state vision and define roadmap to execute
  • Lead transformative efforts across the entirety of the Client and Advisor experiences
  • Own digital elements of Client experience as it relates to account opening, reporting, mobile app, web portal, etc.
  • Lead conversations with stakeholders to deliver enhancements inclusive of business requirements creation, user test scripting, release coordination, and post-launch adoption and performance

Experience & Skills Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar are a plus
  • 12+ years of experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking. Direct experience with client service, product ownership, or business analysis a plus
  • Deep understanding of Private Wealth business models, digital client engagement, and advisor workflows
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational efficiency tools
  • Proficiency in automation technologies and familiarity with digital transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in change management principles and techniques
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and make decisions
  • Candidate will manage and mentor junior Associate(s) reporting into them
  • Ability to build relationships and partner across a complex organization
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to influence seniors and stakeholders outside of your span of control
  • Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complexity
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
