  • Drive communications plans for product launches, roadmap milestones, partnerships, and innovation announcements, ensuring consistent visibility and narrative momentum across owned, earned, and executive channels.
  • Leverage product innovation, data, research, and marketplace insights to position NBCUniversal as a leading voice at the intersection of media, technology, and advertising.
  • Monitor competitive, industry, and technology trends to proactively identify storytelling opportunities and shape communications strategies around emerging areas including AI, data, measurement, commerce, and converged media.
  • Develop a steady pipeline of proof points, including client case studies, adoption stories, business results, and industry examples that demonstrate product impact and differentiation in market.
  • Translate internal expertise into compelling external content, including press materials, thought leadership, speaking platforms, executive communications, and sales enablement assets.
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor across a highly matrixed organization, ensuring alignment, consistency, and accuracy across product messaging and stakeholder groups.
  • Draft and edit a range of communications materials, including messaging frameworks, press releases, product narratives, case studies, bylines, presentations, and thought leadership content.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of communications experience in product communications, product marketing, corporate communications, or B2B technology storytelling
  • Proven ability to translate complex products, platforms, and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in advertising technology, media platforms, data/measurement, or a related B2B technology environment
  • Experience developing communications strategies for product launches, roadmap milestones, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility across Product, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Executive leadership teams.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across a range of formats, including press, product narratives, and thought leadership
  • Familiarity with the advertising, media, and ad tech ecosystem, including key industry events (e.g., CES, SXSW, Upfront, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week)
  • Experience working with media, industry analysts, and external influencers covering technology, media, advertising, or related sectors.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated interest in integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into communications workflows
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • New York-based with ability to travel domestically and internationally; flexibility to support key events and deadlines as needed

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in advertising, media, ad tech, or technology-driven organizations, with a background in product marketing, communications, or go-to-market functions.
  • Familiarity with data, measurement, identity, or audience-based advertising solutions
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect technical capabilities, business objectives, and client needs into differentiated market narratives.
  • Passion for the intersection of media, technology, data, and innovation, and NBCUniversal’s role in shaping that convergence
  • Experience working with senior executives or high-profile spokespeople

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
