The posting

Curious Minds. Bold Ideas. Extraordinary Impact.

We're transforming financial services through bold innovation and relentless execution. You bring the ideas and drive. We'll build what's next — together.

nCino is looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of consumer and small business loan origination within our Global Banking Solutions product suite. You will own a portfolio of existing features, partnering directly with customers and cross functional stakeholders to understand what is working, what is not, and where the next opportunity lies. You will dig into voice of customer research, market data, and usage analytics to inform what gets built next, translate that insight into well scoped initiatives and epics, and work closely with engineering and design to bring those ideas to life. Once features ship, you will stay close to them, tracking adoption and customer sentiment to decide where to double down and where to rethink the approach.

This is a role with real range. You will shadow customer engagements to build firsthand exposure, use AI and machine learning tools to surface patterns and opportunities in how customers behave, and develop a depth of product knowledge that lets you speak confidently about how your features perform in the real world and how they connect to the broader customer experience. The ideal candidate brings a couple years of experience in product or a related technical field, strong communication skills, and comfort working in an agile environment. Knowledge of commercial, small business, or consumer banking is a plus, as is experience with loan origination technology.

Essential Functions

  • Validate - Research, collate VOC, aggregate market data, mine usage analytics and present the results to Sr. PMs, designers, etc. for decisions on what to build next. Shadow customer engagements for exposure and experience
  • Plan - Draft Initiatives and Epics for handoff to Sr. PM (who will work with design and architecture), including key acceptance criteria
  • Build - Story writing should be a team sport, not owned by the PM. Perform effective knowledge transfer to engineering team for them to execute on build and testing. Review outcomes to ensure acceptance criteria are met
  • Grow - For features that have been released, spend time tracking adoption via usage analytics, support feedback, and CSM sentiments from customers. Identify if additional problems need to be solved in the area of interest based on adoption success (or not)
  • nCino Product Knowledge - Expand upon the knowledge of your feature through deep VoC exposure such that you can speak confidently about how customers are using your feature in the real world and what problems it solves well and begin to understand the possible enhancements to the feature experience that would further delight our customers. In addition to a deeper understanding of your feature, expand on your knowledge through deeper understanding of how your feature connects to the overall experience of the personas impacted
  • Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, and uncover unmet needs.
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to validate product assumptions, track adoption, and surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add value to the customer experience while staying informed on emerging technologies and their potential application across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of experience/proficiency or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
  • Ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
  • Travel Requirements - <10%

Desired

  • Knowledge of Agile principles
  • Knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
  • Experience with loan origination software/technology

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
