nCino is looking for a Project Manager to lead Portfolio Analytics implementations for financial institutions, from kickoff through delivery. Working alongside an Implementation Consultant within the professional services team, this person runs medium to large cross functional projects using agile delivery. Day to day, the work centers on planning resources, tracking milestones, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress. As the primary contact for assigned customers, the Project Manager leads conversations and addresses concerns before they become issues. Close collaboration with client success and product teams keeps every program on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings a couple of years of project management experience and a feel for banking, which helps in understanding what financial institutions need from a rollout. Clear communication and strong organization support independent work on complex projects and training for clients on the product. Comfort with project management tools, Excel, and SQL query concepts add an competitive edge.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Lead customer interactions, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundation in project management by planning and allocating resources, monitoring burn summaries, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed of updates and outcomes. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of managing an nCino project plan, including task prioritization, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
  • Leverage a basic understanding of the banking industry and best practices to provide guidance and strategic insights to customers. Apply industry knowledge to enhance service delivery and support customer goals.
  • Maintain a fundamental knowledge of the nCino product, including feature functionality, demonstration techniques, and their value to banking clients. Continuously update and expand product knowledge to stay current with new features and capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless program delivery and customer satisfaction. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Apply a foundational understanding of agile principles and nCino project methodology to support efficient and effective implementation processes. Ensure adherence to project methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Engage in continuous learning and collaboration, handling complex work independently with minimal oversight. Set personal development goals, actively seek feedback, and contribute to overall service excellence.
  • Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance work efficiency and optimize business operations by automating routine tasks to improve accuracy, save time, and minimize errors.
  • Utilize AI-driven insights to refine decision-making, elevate customer experience, and boost team productivity while ensuring its application provides measurable value, driving innovation and smarter ways of working.
  • Stay informed on AI advancements to drive continuous learning and scalable growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Management, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in project management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is:

$64,500—$106,500 USD
