This individual will help drive product readiness, improve deployment execution, strengthen vendor and supplier relationships, reduce operational risk, and ensure the organization can efficiently scale its payments hardware capabilities as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Hardware Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate new payment device evaluations and provide recommendations based on business requirements, customer needs, functionality, cost, and operational considerations.
  • Develop and maintain product requirements in partnership with business, technology, operations, and deployment stakeholders.
  • Support product roadmap planning and prioritization for payment hardware initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, industry trends, market developments, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate end-of-life and replacement strategies for hardware products to minimize customer and operational disruption.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to supported devices, configurations, capabilities, dependencies, and lifecycle status.

Product Releases & Certifications

  • Manage payment hardware release activities from initial planning through production readiness.
  • Coordinate hardware and solution certification activities with internal teams, payment processors, manufacturers, vendors, and other applicable partners.
  • Track certification requirements, dependencies, testing activities, defects, and outstanding deliverables.
  • Ensure appropriate stakeholders are aligned on release scope, timelines, risks, and readiness criteria.
  • Identify and escalate risks that could impact certification, release, deployment, or customer commitments.
  • Partner with technical and operational teams to ensure new products are operationally ready before deployment.
  • Coordinate post-release activities and capture lessons learned to continuously improve future product launches.

Deployment & Operational Readiness

  • Partner closely with Deployment teams to ensure payments products can be successfully ordered, configured, provisioned, injected, fulfilled, shipped, installed, and supported.
  • Define and document operational requirements associated with new payment hardware and product launches.
  • Support the development and improvement of deployment workflows, procedures, controls, and documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities required to move products from certification into operational deployment.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, quality, scalability, and the customer experience.
  • Support resolution of product-related issues affecting deployments or customers.
  • Assist with deployment initiatives and projects requiring Product Management ownership or coordination.

Vendor, Supplier & Partner Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with payments hardware manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables, product roadmaps, hardware availability, lead times, certifications, and product changes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues that could impact business operations or customer commitments.
  • Partner with internal Procurement and Finance teams as needed to support hardware purchasing, forecasting, and vendor-related activities.
  • Coordinate across the supply chain to identify and resolve hardware availability, fulfillment, logistics, or operational issues.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for designated product and vendor relationships.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a central point of coordination across Product, Technology, Deployment, Operations, Finance, Sales, Support, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear product and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate working sessions to drive decisions, resolve dependencies, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
  • Communicate product status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership and business partners.
  • Coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Promote accountability by clearly defining owners, deliverables, timelines, and escalation paths.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain product documentation, procedures, requirements, workflows, and operational reference materials.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve controls, and minimize operational errors.
  • Establish repeatable processes that support business continuity and organizational scalability.
  • Develop appropriate tracking and reporting for product releases, certifications, vendor activities, and deployment readiness.
  • Capture institutional knowledge to reduce dependency on individual resources and strengthen business continuity.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
