Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as a Material Control Superintendent. This position will report to the Plant MPL Manager and is based at our Driveline facility in Belleville, MI. It is extremely important this team member be aligned with Neapco’s Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity, along with Neapco’s Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives. Compensation dependent upon qualifications.

Job Description: Material Control Superintendent

Including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all inventory control processes, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, to ensure accuracy.
  • Direct warehouse operations, material handling, receiving, and internal movement of materials to production lines.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and planning teams to ensure material availability, reducing downtime and shortages.
  • Supervise, train, and develop material handling and warehouse personnel across shifts.
  • Lead cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution to maintain high inventory integrity.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of inventory control, materials management, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience leading teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or related field preferred.
