The role

Contract Manager – OFCI Procurement is responsible for the commercial strategy, negotiation, and administration of OFCI equipment contracts for data center projects. The role focuses on protecting the owner’s commercial position across high-value, long-lead equipment packages while ensuring contractual alignment with project schedule, delivery milestones, and risk allocation.

The position partners closely with procurement, legal, finance, and project teams to manage supplier contracts from tender through close-out.

Your responsibilities will include:

Commercial Strategy & Contract Formation

  • Develop commercial and contractual strategies for OFCI equipment packages
  • Lead commercial negotiations with equipment suppliers and manufacturers
  • Draft, review, and finalize supply agreements, purchase orders, and amendments
  • Ensure clear allocation of risk related to delivery, performance, escalation, and force majeure
  • Align contract structures with project cash flow and financing requirements

Pricing, Payments & Cost Control

  • Negotiate pricing models, payment milestones, retention, and security instruments
  • Manage price escalation, indexation, currency exposure, and tax considerations
  • Support cost forecasting, cash flow planning, and budget compliance
  • Review and approve supplier invoices and payment applications

Risk, Claims & Change Management

  • Define and enforce liquidated damages, delay remedies, and performance guarantees
  • Manage contract variations, change orders, and commercial impacts
  • Support claims avoidance and resolution with suppliers
  • Coordinate dispute resolution activities where required

Contract Administration & Governance

  • Administer OFCI contracts throughout engineering, manufacturing, and delivery phases
  • Issue contractual notices, correspondence, and approvals in line with contract terms
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approval authorities
  • Maintain accurate and auditable contract records

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary commercial interface with OFCI equipment vendors
  • Support procurement and project teams during bid evaluations and award decisions
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, and insurance stakeholders
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and escalation meetings

Schedule & Delivery Alignment

  • Monitor contractual delivery milestones and long-lead commitments
  • Support mitigation strategies for supplier delays or capacity constraints
  • Ensure commercial alignment between OFCI supply contracts and installation contractors

Closeout & Final Accounts

  • Manage contract closeout, final settlements, and release of securities
  • Ensure contractual delivery of warranties, guarantees, and documentation
  • Support transition from project execution to operations

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in contract or commercial management on capital projects
  • Strong experience with supplier negotiations and contract administration
  • Proven track record managing high-value, long-lead equipment contracts
  • Experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects
  • Experience with NetSuite and procurement workflow tools — PR/PO lifecycle, vendor setup, item/category master data
  • Comfortable working with large procurement datasets and reconciling figures across multiple systems (ERP vs procurement tool vs vendor records)

It will be an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience with international procurement and multi-currency contracts
  • Familiarity with standard contract forms (FIDIC or equivalent)
  • Exposure to large-scale, owner-led or EPCM project models

Competencies & Behavioral Traits:

  • Commercial negotiation and risk allocation
  • Contract drafting and administration
  • Cost control and cash flow management
  • Claims and change management
  • Strong stakeholder communication

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Career growth and learning opportunities
  • Flexibility and ownership
  • Collaborative and innovative culture
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
  • International environment and talented teams

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
