NEMO daagt iedereen, van jong tot oud, uit om te ontdekken hoe fascinerend en relevant wetenschap en technologie zijn. We laten zien hoe bijzonder alledaagse dingen zijn of brengen abstracte wetenschap juist op een toegankelijke manier. Zo maken we kennis voor een breed publiek toegankelijk en brengen we wetenschap dichtbij. Dit doen we met een grote diversiteit aan programma’s, tentoonstellingen, activiteiten en evenementen binnen en buiten het museum.

Voor de afdeling Museale zaken zoekt NEMO een:

Stagiair(e) Museale Zaken

4/5 dagen per week voor minimaal 4 maanden, met ingang van januari of februari 2027

Bij NEMO Science Museum zetten we ons elke dag in om bezoekers te fascineren en inspireren. De afdeling Museale Zaken zit bomvol creatieve medewerkers die hun innovatieve ideeën omzetten in concrete projecten. Zo vertalen we het enthousiasme voor wetenschap en technologie naar een breed publiek. Op de afdeling ontwikkelen we tentoonstellingen, lesprogramma's, activiteiten en evenementen, maar we doen ook onderzoek naar leren en bezoekerservaringen. De inzichten die dat oplevert passen we toe in ons werk en delen we binnen en buiten de organisatie

De afdeling Museale Zaken is op zoek naar een stagiair(e) die zich komt inzetten voor diverse lopende projecten; denk aan tentoonstellingen, maar ook workshops en demonstraties. In overleg kunnen we samen de precieze werkzaamheden vaststellen.

Dit vind je leuk om te doen:

  • Je draagt bij bij aan de inhoudsontwikkeling van programma's en tentoonstellingen;
  • Je test activiteiten en prototypen van exhibits met bezoekers van NEMO;
  • Je ondersteunt bij de productie van evenementen, zoals het vakantieprogramma en het Weekend van de Wetenschap.

Hier herken jij jezelf in:

  • Je doet een relevante hbo/wo-opleiding
  • Je hebt affiniteit met de doelgroepen van NEMO
  • Je bent geïnteresseerd in wetenschap en technologie
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld, creatief, nauwgezet, nieuwsgierig en resultaatgericht
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig, zelfstandig en proactief
  • Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
