Dierenartsencentrum Zodiac is een moderne, uitstekend uitgeruste en snelgroeiende praktijk met een duidelijke focus op gezelschapsdieren. Ons enthousiaste team bestaat uit 9 collega’s: 6 dierenartsen en 3 assistenten. Onze praktijk biedt een breed zorgaanbod voor honden, katten en andere kleine huisdieren, gaande van preventieve gezondheidszorg en algemene diergeneeskunde tot meer gespecialiseerde behandelingen zoals orthopedie en interne geneeskunde. Toewijding, kwaliteit en hoogstaande diergeneeskunde vormen de kern van onze werking. Dankzij onze kwalitatieve zorg en persoonlijke aanpak kenden we de voorbije jaren een sterke groei. Om ons team verder te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een voltijdse, ervaren dierenarts die zijn of haar klinische expertise wil inzetten en actief wil bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze praktijk.

Als ervaren dierenarts binnen onze praktijk:

  • Voer je zelfstandig consultaties uit en neem je de leiding over de diagnostiek en behandeling van uiteenlopende, complexe medische aandoeningen bij kleine huisdieren.
  • Verdiep je je in uitdagende casussen en stel je gerichte diagnostische plannen op om tot een onderbouwde diagnose en een passend behandelplan te komen.
  • Zet je jouw expertise in interne geneeskunde in om de kwaliteit van de diergeneeskundige zorg verder te versterken.
  • Werk je nauw samen met collega-dierenartsen om complexe casussen te bespreken, kennis te delen en hen waar nodig te ondersteunen bij de diagnostische aanpak en behandeling.
  • Maak je gebruik van de beschikbare diagnostische mogelijkheden binnen onze praktijk en denk je actief mee over verdere optimalisatie van de medische zorg.
  • Voer je, waar passend binnen jouw ervaring en interesses, courante chirurgische ingrepen uit.
  • Werk je nauw samen met onze drie assistenten en zorg je mee voor een vlotte organisatie en opvolging van consultaties en behandelingen.
  • Draag je bij aan een kwalitatieve en klantgerichte dienstverlening, waarbij je complexe medische informatie op een begrijpelijke manier bespreekt met de eigenaar.
  • Je hebt een Master in de Diergeneeskunde behaald en beschikt over ruime relevante ervaring binnen de diergeneeskunde voor kleine huisdieren.
  • Je hebt een uitgesproken expertise of bijzondere affiniteit met interne geneeskunde en voelt je comfortabel bij de diagnostiek en behandeling van complexere medische aandoeningen.
  • Je kan zelfstandig consultaties uitvoeren, diagnostische onderzoeken interpreteren en onderbouwde behandelplannen opstellen.
  • Je beschikt over sterke klinische en analytische vaardigheden en weet verschillende mogelijke diagnoses tegen elkaar af te wegen.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd om je expertise verder uit te bouwen en volgt nieuwe inzichten en ontwikkelingen binnen de interne geneeskunde actief op.
  • Je deelt graag je kennis met collega's en draagt bij aan een omgeving waarin overleg, samenwerking en continue bijscholing centraal staan.
  • Je communiceert helder en empathisch met dierenartsen, assistenten en diereigenaars en weet ook complexe medische informatie begrijpelijk over te brengen.
  • Je bent zelfstandig, besluitvaardig en oplossingsgericht, maar staat ook open voor overleg wanneer een casus daarom vraagt.
  • Je werkt graag in teamverband en draagt actief bij aan een positieve, collegiale werksfeer.
