Role Overview

12-month Fixed Term Contract

About the role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you'll play an important role in keeping Nest's procurement activity running smoothly. Working alongside our Sourcing Business Partners, you'll provide commercial and administrative support across a range of procurement activities, helping colleagues navigate processes, managing stakeholder queries and ensuring procurement activity is delivered efficiently and compliantly. You'll be at the heart of the team, building relationships across the organisation and helping create value for Nest and our members.

This is a varied role offering great exposure to the world of procurement and commercial management. You'll support lower-value sourcing activity, manage contract variations and change controls, oversee the procurement helpdesk and tender portals, coordinate team reporting and documentation, and assist with tender processes from initial planning through to contract award. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and working with a wide range of stakeholders while developing their procurement expertise.

Minimum skills required

  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations, including Managing Public Money, PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
  • Experience supporting procurement, purchasing or contract administration activities.
  • Confidence using online systems and tools, including tender portals and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and an understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm to develop a career in procurement, sourcing and commercial management.

Flexible and agile working

Everyone's personal situation is different.

To make the most out of hybrid working, we've introduced different ways of working, which include (subject to role requirements):

  • hybrid of office (Canary Wharf, London) and home working (there will be an expectation to attend the office, once - twice a week, or more, as required)
  • reduce or vary working hours
  • reduce or vary the days worked
  • work compressed hours

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
