Joining us as a Data & AI Governance Consultant (Senior-Lead), you will play a key role in establishing and evolving data and AI governance practices that strengthen data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote responsible AI adoption.

Working at the intersection of technology, business, and governance, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate governance requirements into practical solutions that create real business value.

Whether you specialize in data governance or are looking to expand your expertise into AI governance, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how organizations manage, protect, and leverage their data.

As a Data & AI Governance Consultant (Senior-Lead) you will:

  • Implement data governance solutions: Configure and manage governance platforms such as IBM Knowledge Catalog, Collibra and Microsoft Purview.
  • Establish governance policies: Design and implement policies covering data classification, access control, ownership, and responsible data usage.
  • Build trusted data assets: Develop and maintain metadata assets, business glossaries, data lineage, and data stewardship models.
  • Strengthen data quality and compliance: Define and monitor data quality metrics and support compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR.
  • Support AI governance initiatives: Contribute to practices that promote AI transparency, model lineage, fairness, explainability, and auditability.
  • Enable adoption across the organization: Document governance processes, prepare functional documentation, and deliver training and onboarding to relevant users.
  • Bridge business and technology: Work closely with IT teams, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, practical solutions.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Knowledge Catalog, Collibra or Microsoft Purview.
  • A solid understanding of data catalogs, metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and data stewardship.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, particularly GDPR, and relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working with cloud environments, ideally IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including explaining data concepts to business and executive audiences.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • A structured, proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Certifications in a data governance platform (e.g., IBM, Microsoft Purview, Collibra) or DAMA CDMP / DAMA-DMBOK knowledge.
  • Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • An understanding of AI governance principles, including model explainability, bias detection, accountability, and transparency.
  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into clear Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
  • Basic SQL knowledge and the ability to understand or work with SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks and tools, such as IBM Watson OpenScale and Microsoft's Responsible AI solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
