The posting

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

We recently launched a new ad-supported tier to offer our members with more choice in how they consume their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply immersed.

Our Team:

The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our members’ viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers.

Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix from other ad-supported streaming services.

We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.

About the Role:

This PM will own Ads Data Foundations to define and drive the core data capabilities that power our advertising business. This role sits at the intersection of ads, data infrastructure, measurement, privacy, and platform product, and is responsible for working with our Ads Data Engineering team to deliver standardized, scalable, and discoverable datasets and frameworks.

You treat data as a product, defining core facts and offering curated, reusable datasets unified across systems and producers. You champion data as a culture through ongoing communication, training, and documentation. You work across engineering, data science, analytics, privacy, legal, sales, and ads product teams to ensure our ads ecosystem is built on reliable, well-governed, and extensive data foundations.

This PM will:

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ads Data Foundations, including the data product capabilities that support nearly 25 ads teams.
  • Partner with Ads Product & Technology teams to understand business needs and translate them into durable platform investments.
  • Prioritize and manage the product roadmap, balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategic planning to provide scalable and flexible data solutions.
  • Establish clear requirements and governance for data accuracy, lineage, freshness, access controls, and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to privacy, data sharing, retention, compliance, and data misuse.
  • Define success metrics for dataset adoption, data quality, system reliability, and downstream business impact.
  • Become an expert on our advertising data ecosystem, including low-latency, high-accuracy datasets, privacy, governance, and compliance with global ad regulations.
  • Work with the Netflix Data Platform team to ensure the platform needs for Ads data are represented.

We’re seeking a candidate who has:

  • Experience: 10+ years of Product Management experience focused on data infrastructure, event-driven systems, warehouse/lake architectures, and large-scale distributed data pipelines.
  • Visionary Leadership: Demonstrated ability to deliver a comprehensive roadmap and vision for a large-scale data lakehouse, catering to diverse customer groups.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the advertising data ecosystem, familiarity with data privacy and governance, and proven ability to partner with highly technical teams across APIs, backend systems, and internal tools.
  • Collaborative Skills: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including Data & Insights, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with legal compliance and the evolving landscape of advertising regulations worldwide.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
