The posting

About the role

NETGEAR is growing its enterprise networking business, and we're looking for a Product Manager to own a key part of it. You'll own either our WiFi access point roadmap or our Insight cloud management platform. Both are central to how SMBs and managed service providers (MSPs) deploy, run, and grow their networks.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll set direction, write the requirements, work every day with engineering, and take products from idea to launch and beyond. We're looking for someone who knows the technology, listens closely to customers, and measures success by what ships and what sells.

What you'll do

- Own the roadmap for your product area. Turn customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence into a prioritized plan that drives revenue and adoption.

- Write clear, testable requirements (PRDs, epics, user stories) that engineering can build from without guesswork.

- Partner closely with engineering, QA, and UX through the full lifecycle: definition, development, beta, launch, and sustaining.

- Know the customer. Run customer and partner interviews, analyze support and usage data, and stay close to MSPs, VARs, and SMB IT admins.

- Track the competition. Keep an informed view of vendors such as Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, HPE Aruba Instant On, TP-Link Omada, and Ruckus, and use it to sharpen positioning and pricing.

- Drive go-to-market with Product Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams: positioning, launch readiness, sales enablement, and pricing input.

- Measure what matters. Define and track KPIs such as device adoption, subscription attach and renewal, feature usage, and customer satisfaction.

If you focus on WiFi: You'll define AP hardware and firmware features across WiFi 6/6E/7/8. That includes RF performance, roaming, security, and PoE/power, working with hardware, firmware, and ODM partners on NPI schedules.

If you focus on Insight: You'll drive cloud platform capabilities across the web portal and mobile app: multi-site and multi-tenant management, MSP workflows, troubleshooting and visibility tools, subscription tiers, and integrations.

What you bring

- 4 to 7 years of product management experience, ideally in networking, cloud/SaaS, or B2B technology

- Solid technical grounding in enterprise WiFi (802.11 standards, RF basics, WLAN design) or cloud-managed networking/SaaS platforms

- A track record of shipping products from definition through launch

- Strong written communication. Your PRDs are clear, concise, and decisive.

- Comfort with data. You can pull insights from usage, sales, and market data to support your recommendations.

- The ability to influence without authority across engineering, marketing, sales, and executives

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

- Experience with MSP or channel-led business models

- Background in subscription or SaaS pricing and packaging

- Familiarity with switching, security, or SD-WAN alongside WiFi

- Experience working with ODMs or offshore engineering teams

- Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, and analytics tools (Tableau, Snowflake, or similar)

Why NETGEAR

- Real ownership of products that customers deploy around the world

- A focused, fast-moving team where your decisions show up in the market

- Competitive compensation, benefits, and [equity/bonus details]

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
