Objetivo del cargo

Se requiere un Consultor Senior especializado en Snowflake con experiencia comprobada en diseño, implementación y optimización de arquitecturas de datos en la nube. El profesional será responsable de desarrollar soluciones Data Warehouse / Data Lakehouse sobre Snowflake, garantizando escalabilidad, seguridad, eficiencia y cumplimiento de buenas prácticas.

Requisitos técnicos

  • Formación: Ingeniería de Sistemas, Ciencias de Datos, Estadística o carreras afines.
  • Experiencia general: mínimo 5 años en proyectos de Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
  • Experiencia específica: mínimo 3 años trabajando con Snowflake en entornos productivos.
  • Amplio conocimiento en modelado de datos (estrella, copo de nieve, Data Vault).
  • Dominio de SQL avanzado y SnowSQL.
  • Experiencia con ETL/ELT usando herramientas como dbt, Airflow, Matillion, Informatica, Talend o Azure Data Factory.
  • Conocimiento profundo de conceptos de Snowflake Data Cloud: Warehouses virtuales, micro-particionamiento, clustering, time travel, zero-copy cloning. Configuración de stages, streams, tasks, secure data sharing.
  • Integración con servicios de nube: AWS: S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift. Azure: Data Lake Gen2, Synapse, Data Factory. GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub.
  • Experiencia en automatización y DevOps para Snowflake (CI/CD, Git, Terraform, dbt Cloud).
  • Conocimiento de seguridad y gobernanza de datos: RBAC, enmascaramiento, cifrado, control de acceso, auditorías.
  • Experiencia en optimización de costos y performance tuning.

Conocimientos adicionales valorados

  • Experiencia con Python (usando Snowpark, pandas o PySpark).
  • Conocimientos de Data Modeling Tools (ERwin, dbt, Lucidchart).
  • Experiencia con BI / Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik.
  • Conocimiento de arquitectura Lakehouse y patrones modernos de integración (Data Mesh, CDC).
  • Familiaridad con Snowflake Marketplace y Data Sharing.

Certificaciones

  • SnowPro Core Certification (requerida o altamente valorada).
  • SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer / Architect (deseable).
  • Certificación cloud (Azure DP-203, AWS Data Analytics Specialty o GCP Professional Data Engineer).
  • Certificación en dbt Developer / DataOps / DevOps (plus).

Competencias

  • Liderazgo técnico y acompañamiento de equipos de datos.
  • Capacidad de traducir requerimientos de negocio en soluciones técnicas escalables.
  • Comunicación efectiva con equipos técnicos y stakeholders.
  • Orientación a calidad, eficiencia y mejora continua.
  • Inglés intermedio o avanzado (lectura y documentación técnica).

Responsabilidades principales

  • Diseñar e implementar arquitecturas de datos en Snowflake (Data Warehouse / Lakehouse).
  • Construir pipelines de ingestión, transformación y consumo de datos.
  • Integrar Snowflake con herramientas ETL, orquestadores y fuentes diversas.
  • Asegurar la gobernanza, seguridad y rendimiento de la plataforma.
  • Establecer buenas prácticas, guías técnicas y estándares de modelado.
  • Colaborar con arquitectos cloud y analistas de negocio en soluciones end-to-end.
  • Brindar soporte técnico y mentoría a equipos de ingeniería y analítica.
