The opportunity
We're looking for a Distribution Governance Analyst to join our Customer Operations department and play a critical role in protecting adviser and client outcomes through robust governance, monitoring and continuous improvement.
You'll support our adviser monitoring program, review fee arrangements, identify risks, investigate exceptions and work with teams across the business to strengthen controls and processes.
This isn't a traditional compliance role where you're sitting on the sidelines.
You'll be in the detail, connecting dots across data, systems and stakeholder groups, helping us identify issues before they become problems and turning insights into meaningful action.

What you'll be doing
- Review adviser fee arrangements and conduct risk-based testing to ensure fees, consents and ongoing service arrangements are accurate and compliant.
- Analyse and reconcile data across multiple systems to uncover anomalies, trends and potential control gaps.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes and partner with stakeholders to deliver sustainable remediation outcomes.
- Prepare meaningful reporting and insights for governance forums and senior stakeholders.
- Support policy, process and control improvements that strengthen adviser fee governance.
- Contribute to testing and change initiatives to ensure controls remain effective as systems and processes evolve.
- Build strong relationships across Distribution, Product, Investment Operations, Technology, Risk & Compliance and many other areas of the business.

You're likely to bring:
- Experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit or assurance within financial services, wealth management, platforms or advice businesses.
- Exposure to adviser monitoring, fee governance, consent reviews or remediation activities.
- Strong analytical capability and an ability to work comfortably with large datasets and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of Australian financial services regulatory obligations relating to adviser fees, client records, remediation, complaints or incident management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a simple and meaningful way.
- A curious mindset and a desire to continually improve the way things are done.
