Voor een industriële opdrachtgever in de regio van Gent zoeken we een Electrical Project Engineer die elektrische verbeter- en veiligheidsprojecten van A tot Z begeleidt.

Je combineert engineering met een hands-on aanpak en werkt nauw samen met productie, maintenance en automation. Je zit dus niet alleen achter je bureau, maar bent ook regelmatig op de werkvloer te vinden om installaties te analyseren, testen en optimaliseren.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Leiden en realiseren van elektrische verbeter- en veiligheidsprojecten binnen een complexe industriële productieomgeving
  • Uitvoeren van technische studies, risicoanalyses en haalbaarheidsonderzoeken voor bestaande en nieuwe installaties
  • Ontwerpen, uitwerken en implementeren van elektrische installaties, motorsturingen en veiligheidskringen
  • Analyseren en valideren van veiligheidsfuncties binnen PLC-gestuurde installaties, met aandacht voor de onafhankelijkheid en betrouwbaarheid van veiligheidssystemen
  • Uitvoeren van functionele testen, veiligheidsvalidaties en technische controles rechtstreeks op de installaties
  • Analyseren van storingen, elektrische signalen en installatiegedrag om structurele verbeteringen te identificeren
  • Opstellen en optimaliseren van preventieve onderhoudsplannen en lifecycle-strategieën voor elektrische installaties
  • Opstellen van technische specificaties en lastenboeken, beoordelen van offertes en opvolgen van externe leveranciers
  • Coördineren van montage, uitvoering, testing, commissioning en indienstname van nieuwe of aangepaste installaties
  • Samenwerken met productie, onderhoud en automatisatie om technische oplossingen veilig en efficiënt te integreren in bestaande processen
  • Actief aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer om technische problemen te onderzoeken en duurzame oplossingen uit te werken
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor Elektromechanica, Elektriciteit, Energietechnologie of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt een goede technische basis in industriële elektrische installaties, motorsturingen en meet- en regeltechniek
  • Je hebt ervaring met elektrische engineering, industrieel onderhoud, automatisatie of technische projecten
  • Je kunt elektrische schema's interpreteren en technische problemen gestructureerd analyseren
  • Basiskennis van PLC-systemen, industriële automatisering en de interactie tussen elektrische installaties en besturingssystemen is een pluspunt
  • Kennis van machineveiligheid, veiligheidskringen, functionele veiligheid of normen zoals EN ISO 13849, IEC 62061 en IEC 60204-1 is een sterke meerwaarde
  • Je hebt interesse in de volledige projectcyclus, van technische studie en ontwerp tot uitvoering, testing en oplevering
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en beschikt over voldoende technisch Engels
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt initiatief en voelt je thuis in een industriële productieomgeving

Ook junior engineers met een sterke technische basis en een hands-on mentaliteit komen in aanmerking. Je hoeft dus niet alle technologieën al te beheersen. Technisch inzicht, leergierigheid en de drive om oplossingen in de praktijk te realiseren zijn minstens even belangrijk.
