Neuro Wellness Spa is recruiting a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team.

Since 2009, Neuro Wellness Spa’s dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate team has worked to ensure our patients receive the highest quality, most comprehensive mental healthcare possible. As a premier provider of TMS, therapy, and psychopharmacology, Neuro Wellness Spa continues to expand throughout California with locations in Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Torrance, Long Beach, Marina Del Rey, Westlake Village, Encino, Pasadena and upcoming Orange County.

We are currently seeking a like-minded, quality-focused, and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in outpatient psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based psychopharmacology. Summary of Position

A nurse practitioner is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with psychiatric disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to helping individuals achieve mental wellness through medication management, psychoeducation, counseling and care coordination to other services (TMS)

Essential Responsibilities

The following duties and tasks are necessary for the successful performance of the role and are considered critical to achieving the goals and objectives.

· Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management.

· Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs.

· Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.

· Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

· Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients, including therapy, medication management, and social support.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication management records.

· Participate in treatment planning and case conferences to ensure holistic and individualized care for each patient.

· Contribute to improving and advancing our mental healthcare services through participation in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with evidence-based practices.

· Support business development efforts through community outreach, events, and content contributions for media including articles, blogs, social media, and more.

· Assist with training new PMHNPs and site staff, as appropriate.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

· Master's degree from an accredited nursing program or an accredited physician assistant program.

· 1 Year of post-graduate paid experience in a behavioral health setting required.

· Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in mental health care and psychiatric care.

· Valid and current CA Nurse Practitioner license required without any disciplinary action.

· Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) registration.

· Valid credentialing with commercial insurance payors.

· Successful clearance of pre-employment health screening.

· Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (“CPR”) and First Aid Card.

· Current Tuberculosis (“TB”) or X-Ray clearance.

· Successful clearance of Department of Health Care Services (“DHCS”) and Guardian.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to function independently with regards to most clinical decision making.

· Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and ancillary staff.

· Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) system and document effectively.

· Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

· Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects, and potential toxicity.

· Empathy and compassion for clients.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Environment

· The work environment for this position is primarily an office or clinic setting. The noise level is typically moderate, with occasional distractions common in a healthcare environment. The facility is climate-controlled to ensure comfort for employees and patients, with exposure to medical-grade disinfectants and cleaning solutions as part of infection control procedures.

Physical Requirements

While performing job duties, the employee must be able to:

· Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

· Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate computers and office equipment.

· Maintain vision abilities such as close focus and adjusting focus for reading and screen work.

· Occasionally bend, stoop, and reach to access files or materials.

· Communicate frequently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Use hands to produce and manage records in manual or electronic formats.

· Occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds when moving office supplies or equipment.

$165,00 - $200,000 annual salary DOE

Schedule: M-F fully on-site.
